വളരെ പഴയതും ചരിത്രപരമായി പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ളതും കേരളത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിലൊന്നായ ‘കേരള പളനി’ എന്ന പേരിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ശ്രീ സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യ സ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന് വടക്കൻ കേരളത്തിൽ വലിയ പ്രാധാന്യമുണ്ട്. ബാല സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യനോട് പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം നമുക്ക് സമൃദ്ധിയും എല്ലാ ക്ഷേമവും നൽകുമെന്നും ജ്യോതിഷികൾ ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നു. ജ്യോതിഷത്തിന്റെ ഭഗവാനായ അദ്ദേഹത്തോട് പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെ ഐശ്വര്യം കൈവരുമെന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതിനാൽ എല്ലാ ജ്യോതിഷപരമായ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളും പരിഹരിക്കാനാകും എന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തെ സേവിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെ കലാപരമായ കഴിവുകളും കൊണ്ട് സമ്പന്നമാകും.
